About the practice
Lighthouse Leader Development is a leadership development consultancy for the people who build leadership pipelines — talent management, talent acquisition, and L&D teams. We pair validated assessment with personalized coaching, and we measure ourselves on the same thing you do: observable change in leadership style, behaviors, and outcomes. We are proud to be based in Boston, MA with clients across the US.
We started Lighthouse after years of watching the same pattern inside organizations: assessments bought in bulk, reports handed over, and development left to chance.
So we built the practice around the missing half. Every Hogan engagement includes a certified debrief and a structured coaching cadence. Every Insights Discovery program is customized for your specific levels, team dynamics, and friction points, not pulled off a shelf. The instrument is the starting point, not the finish line.
We stay deliberately boutique. That means senior practitioners on every engagement, honest counsel about whether assessment is even the right tool, and no sales layer between you and the people doing the work.
The instruments we use require rigorous certification — and we maintain it.
Certified to administer and interpret the full Hogan suite — HPI, HDS, and MVPI — for selection, development, and succession work.
Licensed evaluator qualified to deliver Insights Discovery profiles, team sessions, and workshop programs.
Certified to design and deliver Development Dimensions International (DDI) leadership programs — from frontline manager curricula to senior-leader interaction and coaching courses.
Coaching practice aligned to internationally recognized coaching standards with initial consults, manager debriefs, and individualized development plans.
Assessment data is handled with strict confidentiality, shared only with the participant and the stakeholders you designate, and never used outside its intended purpose.
Structured, evidence-based, and pointed at behavior — not insight for its own sake.
01
Coaching starts from validated data, not gut feel. The debrief sets an honest baseline the leader can't argue with, because it's their own reputation in their own words.
02
Awareness is the input, not the outcome. Every engagement ends with specific, observable behavioral commitments — and a cadence that checks whether they happened.
03
Development plans are written to plug into your talent review, succession, and performance conversations — so the work compounds inside your system instead of alongside it.
04
If a hire doesn't warrant assessment, or a struggling team needs something other than a workshop, we say so. Our value is being right, not being busy.
